  Boat Landings
  |
There are two community boat landings on Daniel Island. The Beresford Creek Street boat landing is available to residents of the Daniel Island Community Association (DICA). The Ralston Creek boat landing is located in Great Oak Park and available to residents of the Daniel Island Park Association (DIPA).
These are privately owned and operated facilities located within residential neighborhoods. Users are subject to rules and regulations designed to minimize inconvenience to the neighboring property owners. To gain access to these facilities, dowload the appropriate forms below and deliver them to the association office.
*Note: The city of Charleston plans to build a public boat landing in Governor's Park, the area adjacent to the Family Circle Cup property. For more information, please contact the city of Charleston Parks Department.

  Governing Documents
  |
The Governing Documents folder is the principal source for all the information about our association's Rules and Regulations, By-Laws, Covenants, and Design Standards.
Covenants are non-governmental legal restrictions that apply to land and, hence, also apply to the owners of this land. They are legally binding. On Daniel Island, there are three main sets of covenants that apply to all properties. These three sets of covenants are the Daniel Island Community Association, Inc. (DICA), Daniel Island Park Association (DIPA) and Daniel Town Association (DITA) Covenants (or the Association Covenants) and the General Covenants (or Developer Covenants). The Covenants are legal instruments that are recorded in the official land records office for Berkeley County and should have been provided by your attorney at closing. If you did not receive these, they are available from the Property Owners Association office.
